Olbios means happy land, prosperous, rich. It is the name that ancient Greeks gave to our land. Tenute Olbios pay an obsessive attention for details: in the cultivation, harvesting, vinification and packaging of the wines. Tasting Note:

Straw-yellow colour, the fine perlage consists of long, small and thick chains forming a thin and yet durable crown on the surface! A pure bouquet, concentrated and expressive, with multiple fine aromas, floral at first then fruity and pastry-like. In the mouth, the taste reveals the same aromatic notes, ending with a genuine and persistent finish!

“In Vino Veritas” meaning In wine is the truth, the ancients used to say and to winemaker at Tenute Olbios, it means quality does not lie. The wine is aged sur-lie for 7 years, partially in stainless steel tanks and for a small percentage in barriques for 24 months with “flor” yeast and controlled oxidation. A wine produced in a limited amount of bottles, for wine lovers only!

Colli del Limbara "CanGrande" IGP 2016 VEGAN

Tasting Note:

CanGrande is the latest wine created by Tenute Olbios. The name is to pay tribute to the prestigious Vinitaly CanGrande award won in 2017, the owner and winemaker Daniela Pinna was recognized as Winemaker of the Year for the Sardinia region. The label titled “Wolf like me” is a work of Andrea Ambrogio better known as “Gemello”, a rapper and Italian painter.
